American Diabetes Association:

The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading 501(C)3 nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association conducts programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, reaching hundreds of communities.

The mission of the Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

To fulfill this mission, the American Diabetes Association funds research, publishes scientific findings, provides information and other services to people with diabetes, their families, health professionals and the public. The Association is also actively involved in advocating for scientific research and for the rights of people with diabetes.

Canadian Diabetes Association:

Established over 50 years ago, the Canadian Diabetes Association is a charitable organization that has grown to include a presence in more than 150 communities across the country. The Canadian Diabetes Association promotes the health of Canadians through diabetes research, education, service and advocacy.

Diabetes Educator Section of the Canadian Diabetes Association:

The Diabetes Educator Section (DES), a multidisciplinary professional section of the Canadian Diabetes Association, is committed to excellence in diabetes education, through education, service, advocacy and research as they relate to diabetes educators and diabetes education. It is through the dedication and commitment of the DES membership of over 2000 across Canada that the organization will reach its goals and continue to improve the quality of life for all people affected by diabetes.

Dietitians of Canada:

Dietitians of Canada (DC) is the nation-wide voice of dietitians - the most trusted source of information on food and nutrition for Canadians. DC focuses its leadership and support for members in three priority areas, chosen to ensure the greatest impact on the nutritional health of Canadians. With 5000 members, who meet academic and experience standards, DC is the only national professional association of dietitians in Canada and is one of the largest organizations of dietetics professionals worldwide. DC staff design and implement programs and services to advance the priorities established by the DC Board of Directors.

Diabetes United Kingdom:

Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes, funding research, campaigning and helping people live with the condition.

DUK has over 170,000 members and is working for people with diabetes, their careers, family and friends. DUK represent the interests of people with diabetes by lobbying the government for better standards of care and the best quality of life. Diabetes UK spends over 5 million pounds on research every year to improve the treatment of diabetes and we hope our research will ultimately lead to finding a cure for diabetes. DUK's mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes and to work towards a future without diabetes.
